AccumTech is seeking a motivated IT Engineer Intern to join our team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in IT engineering, work on exciting projects, and develop your technical skills. As an IT Engineer Intern, you will assist our IT department in various tasks, including system maintenance, troubleshooting, and support.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
Manage hybrid Active Directory / 365 environment, including users, groups, security permissions, and licensing.
Provide technical support to end users
Participate in network management, including architecture, troubleshooting, and best practices
Collaboration with team members on project management, and system improvements
Document processes and procedures for system hardening, and best practices
Collaborating with IT management on system outage response plans, Disaster Recovery, and network resilience
Install, configure, and manage physical hardware, virtual systems, and cloud systems.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
Strong problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, while contributing new ideas.
Excellent follow-through on staff support, closing the loop to make sure a resolution works.
Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Knowledge of Active Directory, M365, Azure, Windows Server flavors, and Windows 11.
